How did you get started with CrossFit? After a career switch that took me from being on my feet all day to sitting at a desk most of the time, I was at my lowest fitness level overall. Frustrated with subpar results and lack of motivation with a typical globo-gym routine, I needed something different. After months of hearing rave reviews from a great friend, I decided to give CrossFit a try and haven’t looked back since. CrossFit also provided much more than just a workout. The sense of community and camaraderie has kept me motivated and wanting coming back rather than dragging myself to the gym.
What is your previous sport or exercise background? I played ice hockey for about 4 years and some high school soccer. Previous exercise background was the globo-gym routine – Chest and Tri’s, Back and Bi’s!
What is one fun fact about you? I enjoy fishing in my down time.
