How did you get started with CrossFit? I was getting close to finishing Chiropractic school, and was introduced to it by the doctor I would end up working with when I graduated. I always knew what it was but just didn’t think my beat up body would thrive doing it long term. I decided to eventually give it a shot, and here I am going strong 4 years later. It’s honestly super cool to see what your body is truly capable of when you take care of it and push yourself at the same time.
What is your previous sport or exercise background? I played just about everything through high school, but when I got to college I only played a few years of baseball. After that I just tried to stay healthy and active with much more tame forms of fitness. This inevitably got a little monotonous after a few years, and then I found CrossFit.
What is one fun fact about you? I can’t seem to figure out how to skateboard, surf, snowboard, wake board, skim board or basically any type of activity where I have to stand sideways on a moving object.
Favorite WOD: Anything with ONLY handstand walks and muscle ups in it. I’m not sure if one has been created yet that fits this criteria. If not, I think it could be named “Dr. Jake”.
Least Favorite WOD: Kalsu
